Course Registration:  

• Learn about top registration tools and get answers to common registration questions with information from the Registrar’s Office: Guidance on Schedule Builder, Advisement Requirements Report, What-If Report, Academic Planner, excess credit, independent study, and more. 

Course Search: 

• Search for Classes To find course offerings by semester offered, campus, availability or other criteria, use classes.uconn.edu. See Using the Class Search for help using the search features. When logged in, UConn students can also use the Build My Schedule feature of UConn Class Search.

Permission Numbers: 

• The process of enrolling in courses with permission numbers has changed. Students will now be given authorization directly in Student Admin to enroll in the requested course and specific section and will no longer need to input a permission number. Please reach out to the course instructor for further guidance on obtaining permission to enroll.

Nexus complements the university’s student support services and enhances information sharing between students, staff, and faculty. Tools include dashboards, appointment scheduling, note sharing, event registration, and more.

Sharing tools and resources to allow students to gauge their academic progress, communicate with their advisors, and connect with their peers in academic pursuits

Creating a common site for advisors to engage with student-level academic data

Providing advisors a common platform to keep regular notes on student meetings and interactions

Linking the advising community together as they seek to support students developmentally and holistically in the interest of student retention and success
